Willy Ehling

Willy joined the Fitness staff at The Club at Harper’s Point in September of 1998. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Wright State University. As an undergraduate, he earned All-Conference honors playing tennis for Thomas More University. Willy understands the physical demands of sport & life. He has spent countless hours studying how to improve the performance of individuals on & off the court. His clients range from high level professional & amateur tennis athletes to those seeking to gain the most out of their fitness to attack life. Willy is certified by the International Sports Science Association (ISSA) as a Personal Trainer & also holds a certification in CPR.

Aaron Lakanen

Aaron Lakanen is a dedicated & passionate Fitness Professional, entering the field in 1999. He has spent his entire career learning more about the human body, the greatest creation, to best serve his clients & students in their desire to seek optimal function & performance. He specializes in increasing neuro-muscular system function, improving biomechanical efficiency, speeding up recovery time, prevention of injuries, & enhancing athletic performance. He began his career in Minnesota as a Personal Trainer, & was quickly exposed to great educators & information in the fitness industry. Following these experiences, he successfully integrated MAT into his existing fitness practice, as he sought out further education in the MAT Paradigm. After becoming an MAT Mastery Level Specialist & excelling with his personal practice, he sought out being an educator for MAT as he wanted to be able to pass on the skill-set to others. His fitness industry experience as a trainer, educator, business developer, & collegiate track & field coach, allow his thought provoking workshops to immediately enhance the skill-set of attendees. Whether you’re an athlete, weekend warrior, or just want to extend your active years, Aaron will work with you to correct & stabilize neuro-muscular function in order to maximize performance & long-term health.

Kelly graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Science degree in Equine Science, & is a NESTA Certified Personal Trainer. Her combined knowledge from the equine athlete education & the human performance education give her a unique perspective about how structure dictates performance, & what setbacks may occur if structural imbalances exist, regardless of species. MAT bridged the gap for her in understanding the role of the muscular system in terms of movement efficiency. After discovering MAT in 2011, she is driven to keep learning how to better help clients get strong & stay strong.

Tyberius is a Personal Trainer & MAT specialist, working on his master certification. He specializes in Strength & Power training as well as Speed & Agility for athletes. He began his MAT Career when he turned 21 as he was finishing up his last semesters in undergrad. He graduated from Turpin Highschool in 2015, then went on to attend Northern Kentucky University to major in Exercise Science. Ricardo holds his Personal Training certification through the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and is CPR certified.

Lee joined the Fitness staff at The Club at Harper's Point in March, 1997. He is currently the strength & conditioning coach at Ridgeville Christian School where he designs & conducts training programs for the school’s athletes. Lee is also a competitive track athlete where he competes in shot-put. He is certified by The American Council on Exercise (ACE) as a Personal Trainer, & also holds certification in CPR & First Aid.

Brice is a collegiate swimmer for Malone University. He is a USA Swim Coach with 10+ years experience, as well as 12 years of soccer experience. Brice knows a great deal about dryland (body weight) workouts as well as athletic lifting. Brice works with a variety of clients from athletic performance to body stability & general exercise & holds his Personal Training certification through the American Council on Exercise (ACE).
