Deia Elam, Director
Deia has been the Group Fitness Director
at The Club at Harper’s Point since 1985.
She is certified with American Council on Exercise
(ACE), Mad Dog Spinning, BARRE Above,
Yoga-fit & Water Fitness. She is truly passionate
about sharing her love of fitness & healthy lifestyle
with the members of The Club. Deia also works in
the membership office at Harper’s. In addition,
Deia also played Varsity tennis for Northern
Kentucky University. Check out the monthly group
fitness schedule for a wide variety of classes to
attend here at The Club.
Brooke Elam
As a certified BARRE Above instructor,
Brooke is a student at Mason High School
who joined our staff in the Spring of 2019.
Don’t let her age fool you...her leadership
skills are beyond her years & it shows in her
ability to instruct an awesome BARRE class.

Erin Gimelstein
Erin received her education from The Ohio State
University in Fitness and Nutrition Education.
She is a busy mom of 3 who is committed to
living a healthy & active lifestyle. She earned
her Pilates certification from Balanced Body
University & has been teaching for over 10
years. She is also a Barre Above & PlyYoga
certified instructor. She is very passionate
about helping people reach their fitness goals
through positive encouragement &
experienced guidance.
Julie Laux
Certified in Barre, Zumba & AFFA Group
Fitness, Julie loves the members at The Club
at Harper’s Point! She is always looking for ways
to challenge their fitness levels including class
formats in Athletic Conditioning & H.I.I.T.
When not teaching classes, Julie stays busy
with her 2 teenage daughters & working
part time at Children’s Hospital.
Pat Madigan
Pat’s passion for Spinning is contagious! In
2005, he took his first Spin class as a student
which eventually led to getting his certification
to teach classes! Along with a great workout,
Pat's music will get you moving! His routines
are loosely choreographed with a relevant
mix of music for people of all ages.
Pattie Mikita
Pattie has been teaching as a certified group
fitness instructor & personal trainer for over
40 years... 37 of those years right here at The
Club at Harper’s Point! Her classes are upbeat &
creative. Pattie is also BARRE Above certified
& will lead you through a workout to get
results. She has 4 daughters & 9 grandchildren.
Monica Stamper
Monica left the corporate world over 20
years ago to pursue her love of Yoga & fitness...
helping others improve the quality of their lives.
Monica applies her expertise in the principles of
functional training, stretching, balance & stress
reduction practices in her classes. In addition,
Monica utilizes certified pure therapeutic-grade
essential oils
Moe Swift
Moe has been a fitness instructor at The Club at Harper’s Point for over 20 years. She holds a Master’s Degree in Exercise and Health Studies from Miami University and is certified through the American Council on Exercise. Moe is also a 200 RYT through the Yoga Alliance and is trained in Journey into Power through Baptiste. She works full-time in the field of corporate well-being and fitness, and enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters and dogs.
Sue Thomas
- A graduate of the Ohio State University with a Masters degree from The College of Mount Saint Joseph.
- Sue has worked in the healthcare environment for many years as a nurse, a coordinator of care in areas such as trauma and sports medicine, a healthcare educator, and a director of organizational projects.
- Throughout her years in healthcare, she had an ongoing awareness of how many health conditions and injuries are preventable through proper diet, exercise and conditioning.
- Sue has been committed to fitness and health throughout her career, and is a lifelong tennis player.
- Certified in group fitness, boot camp conditioning, cycling, and advanced personal training, Sue combines her knowledge of health and fitness with her tennis experience to provide fitness classes, personal training and tennis instruction for children and adults.
- Sue is available for private and group tennis lessons and runs our Tennis Flex + Fit program.
Liz Viviano
Liz has over 40 years of Yoga experience.
She is certified in Gentle Yoga, Vinyasa Flow,
Prenatal/Postnatal Yoga, Mindfulness, Healing
Touch & Reiki. Liz studied pre-med,
neuroscience & psychology at the University
of Michigan, graduating with a BS in Psychology.
Michelle Way
Michelle began teaching Yoga in 2001 at a
Bikram studio as a compliment to running.
She is inspired to share the gift of Yoga with
others. Michelle believes the mind, body &
soul connection is sacred & should be
nurtured and inspired. Her classes are
uplifting & safe. Students can explore &
expand with their own body & mind &
focus on breath & mindful movement
accessible for all levels.
CASSIE WHITEHOUSE
As a certified Yoga instructor, Cassie enjoys
sharing the life-changing holistic benefits of Yoga,
meditation & energy medicine with participants
in her class. She is proficient in Vinyasa Flow, Yin,
Alignment-Based, Restorative, Prenatal/Postpartum,
& Meditation/Breath Awareness Yoga. Check out

Lisa Wolf
Lisa has been involved in the fitness industry
for over 30 years! Along with teaching as a
certified group fitness instructor, Lisa &
her husband Greg own Midwest Sports.
We are fortunate to have such an awesome
instructor on our staff. When you attend her
class, she wants you to feel positive energy,
strong, capable, & have fun while getting a
great workout.
Tracey Woodson
Tracey is a certified Yoga Instructor and enjoys
teaching here at The Club at Harper’s Point. Her
delicious homemade protein muffins are loved by all
Members! When she’s not teaching Yoga, she enjoys
running and strength training. Tracey loves to
welcome new participants to her Yoga class and
encourages them to take full advantage of all the
classes and services provided at The Club! Tracey
looks forward to seeing you in class!
Julie Hudepohl
Julie earned her Spinning Instructor certification
thru Mad Dogg Athletics and has been teaching for
over 15 years. She loves the powerful mind-body
connection of Spinning and is energized by great music!
When not teaching, she enjoys all forms of fitness,
including yoga, barre & golf. Julie is a mom & busy
business professional, and looks forward to supporting
you on your cycle journey!
Paige Strickland
Paige is a Group Fitness Instructor with 10 years
experience. Dance-Exercise has been a part of her life
since college days! She is also a teacher and currently
works as an education aide with special needs high school
students. Outside of work she enjoys time in the garden,
and spending time with her kids and grandkids. Paige is
excited to welcome you to Dance-Exercise here at The Club!
